Billie Jean

Billie Jean has spent most of her life working out people’s buttons and pushing them just to get them annoyed. She likes to push, to show she isn’t beaten down, that she is feisty and still in control. She refuses to let anyone make decisions for her, or tell her how she should behave. Usually she watches quietly in the background, gauging the person or people we are with. If she feels they are too controlling or too full of themselves then she makes it her mission to annoy them, to find subtle or in some cases not so subtle ways to get under their skin. This started, it would seem as a way to show our abusers that we weren’t all broken, that some of us still had a spirit that couldn’t be crushed. She would push their buttons until they got angry enough to punish her. She says the punishments were worth it, because all the time she knew they really didn’t have the power, that she had manipulated them. However she was also aware of the limit to that, and never pushed past what she, herself was capable of enduring.

When she likes someone, feels they are treating her as an equal then she has a cheeky sense of humour, playful to a degree. She loves David Bowie’s music and spy novels. Although she has never had many friends, as she is usually very suspicious of people and their motives.

Physical Appearance

Billie Jean is about 15 or 16, we are unsure exactly. She has very short cropped black hair and big brown eyes. She is of a slender build, and usually wears dark clothes, trousers, she has never been seen in a skirt. There is often a smirk in her eyes, a look of amusement and disdain. She tends to like to sit with her legs crossed under her or stand leaning against a wall.
