BlackWing

During our childhood BlackWing aligned herself with the people in power. For her, the people with the most people, at that time were those that ran the cult we belonged to. Attracted to their power she learnt the lessons quickly, and became a major force in holding the events of that group secret from the world. As she grew older her position moved from being simply the holder of secrets to an enforcer of silence. Her ability to ensure silence through a regiment of fear and violence allowed her to gain respect from those she perceived as powerful and created power of her own. She studied those around us, seeing most family members as ultimately powerless because of their inability to control their violence and anger. Power came, from her understanding, being in full control not only of others but also of oneself. Her job as enforcer of silence continued into adulthood, and although we no longer belong to that cult group she still fights to maintain the secrecy surrounding it. This has lead to many attacks on those that have tried to talk and open hostility between her and Lena.

Power is still what interests BlackWing the most. The forms and expressions of power, power over others as well as power residing in oneself. This makes her very interested in world events and politics. There are some sorts of power that she has little time for, in particular, power that comes from something external, money, family connection. Her belief is if the power would evaporate if the external was removed then the person has no real personal power. Perhaps because of her views her social circle is very limited. She seems a loner, but not one that is despairing because of her aloneness. Although part of the community of the Shire she tends to live on the outskirts of community life.

Physical Appearance

Tall and slender BlackWing has blue-black hair which falls very straight and sleek down below her shoulders. Her skin has a blue tinge to it, darker around the lips, as if she has been exposed to extreme cold. Not one for colour she always wears clothes black in colour.
